How to repair a LCD monitor

How to repair a LCD monitor - 3 LCD Electronic Components likely to fail and Need Monitor Repair
LCD monitors are easily the most popular types of display units in use today. Whether desktop or laptop, the ubiquitous LCD screen supplies the monitors of one million worldwide.

But like any electronic apparatus made of diodes, ICs, transformers and circuit boards, there are some monitor parts that tend to fail more than others.

I do not mean that they go bust at the drop of a hat, but compared to other parts such as the LCD screen, power button or outside coat, certain internal components are more prone to error than others.

In my own experience, that the top 3 components are most likely to need repairs:

1. Electrolytic Capacitors

Capacitors are at the top of this list for a reason. If it relates to control electronics, there are several capacitors on the various boards than any other major component.
Be it the display panel, the power board,or motherboard, all these small capacitors, the bulge, mud or kaput simply can go through a surge voltage.
an example is if you have dark horizontal lines on your LCD monitor wondering and see how to fix it. This is done in the monitor power supply board due to a defective filter capacitor. But the good news is capacitors are cheap to replace.

2. CCFL Backlight Bulb

This lamp is a Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp (CCFL) that lights up your monitor from behind. Think anes as a normal fluorescent tube, except for about 10% of its size.
While backlight bulbs can be expected anywhere from 4-7 years lose most incandescent about 50% of their brightness within 3-4 years.
You will know this if your screen goes dark, dark or black. That's when the backlight is replaced, but do not worry, these lamps are also relatively inexpensive. You can get them cheap from online LCD parts stores.

3. Display Driver and graphics card

While the display driver is not just an electronic component, powering another very important component called the video card (or video card).
Damaged driver, incorrect or incomplete installations, and incompatible drivers are very common causes of problems Monitor. The impact can proven everything from discoloration, blank screen, strange display of 3D objects, or just a signal failure.
Fortunately, these are among the simplest monitor Problemezu solve, and even a layman can do it. All you need is a complete uninstall all traces of your old video driver and run a registry cleaner to remove all residues. Then, perform a clean installation of the manufacturer's website.
