iOS Locked Because Forgot Password or Passcode?
What to do if you forget or can not remember the passcode / password / passcode on iOS devices (iPhone / iPad / iPod).
Some time ago I received a comment on how if your iOS device is locked because of forgotten password / passcode. Actually this is already described by Apple, but it does not hurt to write me back here.
What to do if you forget or can not remember the passcode / password / passcode, or if you see a red message "turned off / disabled".
When you set a passcode to secure use of the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, and then enter the wrong code, you will see a red message "turned off / disabled". If you forget or can not remember the password, follow the steps in this article to resolve the problem.
If you enter the wrong code six times or more, you will see a message stating one of the following messages:
iPhone is turned off / disabled
iPad is turned off / disabled
iPod touch is turned off / disabled
The message states to try again later: Once too often try, your device will display "[Device] is turned off, connect to iTunes".
If you previously have synchronized the device with iTunes
You will be able to reset the password to restore the device.
Connect the device to the computer where you normally sync and open iTunes. Note: If iTunes asks you to enter a passcode, try other computers where you sync the device. If not, try "If you've never been to align the device with iTunes", below.
Right-click the device in the left hand column and select Backup (Backup).
Once the backup is complete, select Restore (Restore).
When finished, restore from your latest backup.
If you've never been to align the device with iTunes
By connecting the device, this error message appears: "iTunes could not connect to the [device] because the device is locked with a passcode. You must enter a passcode in the [devices] before it can be used with iTunes. "
Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable is connected to the USB port of the computer.
Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep / Wake button (sleep / wake) for a few seconds until a red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to death.
While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device will flash.
Continue to press and hold the Home button until you see the screen "Connect to iTunes". If this screen appears, release the Home button.
iTunes will alert you that iTunes has detected the device is in recovery mode. Click OK (OK), and then click Restore (Restore) to recover the device. (REMEMBER! The possibility of the data will be lost and return to the original settings)
If you do not have access to computers
If you use Find My iPhone, you can use the Removal of Remote to recover the device. If you are already using iCloud to back up, you will be able to restore the most recent backup to reset your password.
Other Information
Forgot your password was a bitch, but all can be repaired. The most important is, always BACKUP iOS device you, either via iCloud or directly to a computer. It saves you from data loss if there is something.
If Restore did not resolve the issue, the time you have to visit Sevice Center.
